Colorectal cancer is:
  • the third most common malignant neoplasm worldwide
  • the second leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States
  • anybody can develop it (PDF file)

    It is estimated that there will be 153,760 new cases and 52,180 deaths in the United States in 2007 due to colorectal cancer.
